when I cant hear you, it doesnt mean you left me, your presence muted teaches me to have faith
Yes I got them. Thank you so much! You guys rock. I wear a button every time I want to be a grouch haha.
Over the course of this year I wrote many songs, played tons of Mario Kart, invented my own moustache wax and other miscellaneous things. I even got married to the most amazing woman ever! But most importantly I grew tremendously in my relationship with God. I have nothing else to add to this blog. I truly believe it will speak for itself! Thank you everyone who has read this! This truly has been a very fun journey now that I look back on it.
Adam Black, signing off.
God Bless!
Wow. I cant believe one year has already passed since I started this blog. I want to take the time now just to thank everyone who read this over the past year. This has been a very fun thing and I can’t wait to start my next year long blog! I’m still thinking of a name for it and I’m hoping it can be just as random and fun as this one was.
P.S. The man that wants to burn the Quran tomorrow is a complete moron. I am tired of these so called christians who promote this kind of hate. Jesus is the complete opposite. I pray their eyes open to see that. Don’t get me wrong now, I don’t believe in the whole COEXIST movement but I do believe that Jesus wouldn’t want us to blatantly disrespect another persons beliefs and cause harm. Thats just me.
This is a music project that I am working on that is called “Bowser’s Castle”. It will be a 3 song CD with music from Bowser’s point of view.
I read this quote earlier and it was brought back up today in a staff meeting.
“There is no greater life and joy that one can experience than having been crucified with Him and to be truly dead to this world. What can threaten a dead man? A dead man has no fears of failure, rejection, or any other fear. A crucified life does not envy or worry but will rather know the ultimate peace, patience, and love for others - the greatest joy a soul can experience in this life.” - Rick Joyner (Church History : The First Century)
I honestly believe this statement sums up what our life should be. We need to die to this world so that our hearts and minds can focus on the right things!! i.e JESUS! (lol). It really is that simple! Why do we focus on the things that don’t matter, the things that bring us into a depression, that things that in all reality make people question God. Our minds are so clouded with these worldly things ( cars, jobs, money, beauty, etc… ) that our whole focus becomes outrageous. Lord I ask for my daily bread and nothing more because I need nothing more. If we compete with someone who has more money than us, bad things happen plain and simple. I recently saw a movie called “The Joneses” and it is exactly what it sounds like; keeping up with the Joneses. In this movie ”The Joneses” were a professional “family” who were sent in by major marketing companies to try and sell there products to friends they made in their neighborhoods. The Joneses were given all these things as part of a scam and other families in the neighborhood went bankrupt trying to keep up with them. It got so bad that the next door neighbor committed suicide when he was faced with foreclosure on his house and bankruptcy. This movie was a perfect example of why we need to die to this world. We have nothing to compete for here. I’m not going to make this blog about how you can die to the world, but rather just tell you to do it. Stop caring about trying to look like that guy next to you in the gym or the supermodels in the magazines. Stop trying to have the nicest car when your car already serves its purpose. etc.. etc.. blah blah blah.
I am dead to this world and its the most alive I have ever felt. I am seeking God first and foremost and I am not keeping up with the Joneses. I am asking for my daily bread and nothing more or nothing less, just what I need. I am not overcomplicating my stay on this planet because someone said this is how it should be. God told me how it should be and wrote it down for all of us. Hook. Line. Sinker.
Well, it has been a long while since I have posted anything but I thought this was worthy of a post! I GOT MARRIED TO THE MOST WONDERFUL WOMAN IN THE WORLD!!!!! Thats about all I have to say right now. Our wedding was absolutely gorgeous and we had all our friends and family there! I’m so excited for this life long journey its not even funny!
I’m praying for financial breakthrough….. not just for myself but for everyone.
I’m absoultely fed up with this crappy economy when God’s economy is sooooooo much better. I want in on some of those kingdom finances… the kind that doesn’t let us get to rich so we lose sight of God and also the same kind that doesn’t make us poor so we have to steal.
Proverbs 30:7-9
This song is aboultely incredible. It is my theme song right now!!!
And He set me on fire, and I am burning alive.
With His breath in my lungs I am coming undone.
And he set me on fire and I am burning alive.
With his breath in my lungs I am coming undone.
And I cannot hold it in
Remain composed.
Love’s taken over me
So I propose the letting myself go.
I am letting myself go.
You are my joy.
You are my joy.
You are my joy.
You are my joy.
And He set me on fire, and I am burning alive.
With His breath in my lungs I am coming undone.
And He set me on fire, and I am burning alive.
With His breath in my lungs I am coming undone.
And I cannot hold it in and remain composed.
Love’s taken over me and so I propose the letting myself go.
I am letting myself go.
You are my joy.
You are my joy.
You are my joy.
You are my joy.
I need to catch my breath, I need to.
I need to catch my breath, give me a moment now.
You are my joy.
You are my joy.
You are my joy.
You are my joy.
I’m laughing so hard
And I’m laughing so hard
And I’m laughing so hard
I cant get this scripture out of my head. Read it. Let it soak in. Read it in context. Think about it. Remember it. Read it.
20Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.Revelation 3:20 (New International Version)
